Like all people I like a nice glass of cold ice water, usually I take mine no ice and a slice of lime. There is that rare occasion like you see in the photo when they do serve it with ice, I drink it anyway.

The only catch is your thirst for a little bit and then you have to drink again, and again, and again.

But then God’s word comes clear through to my heart and my soul, with all its power and truth.

“ Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:13-14)

The verse comes from the Book of John where Jesus meets the Samaritan woman at the well, he tells her her life story and she is the first one He proclaims His Divinity to.

She too is possibly the one of the first disciples as she goes into town and tells everyone who she’s met and the verses that follow says that many of the Samaritans were saved that day.

All started by Jesus asking her for a drink of water.
